As many reviews say, and I can confirm, the slip dress underneath the sheer overlay is "comically small" - as in if i moved anything, more of myself would be revealed than preferred. However, the concept is stunning and the sheer overlay piece is gorgeous. I ordered a size up in hopes that the slip would be longer and the overlay won't be too large.

Beautiful dress! Chic and classy! I wore this for a wedding and received so many compliments. The color is gorgeous and would be great for any season. I’m 5’2- wore the dress with heels and did not need to have any length taken off.
I bought the dress to wear to a fall wedding. It fits great! I wish the sleeves on the cape was shorter but other than that it's perfect.
LOVE THIS DRESS! i’m 5 foot 6, about 170lb and 3 months postpartum. this is so chic and comfy and i feel like a DIVA in it. if your pregnant or have breastfeeding yitties id recommend sizing up one for the slip to fit good. i tried the medium first and was too tight up top but the large is perfect. 10/10!

Lovely dress. Well made, nice material for both pieces. As much as I loved the dress I don't think it suited me or it was what I wanted. The dress fit true to size. I'm 5'1, midsized. The cape would probably have needed hemming, but you could get away with it with some platforms
Wearing this to a summer evening wedding, along with large chartreuse Swarovski bling, along with 2. 5" black strappy sandals, and hot pink nails. Dress code stipulated 'Italian funky chic' attire. How'd I do? I'm a petite 5'1" so had 5" taken off the hem and 7" taken off the sleeve.

Deducting a star because the inner slip is comically smaller (size and length). Honestly I’d call this a wash and just order whatever size of the main dress you think will fit. I’m going to end up wearing a different slip that I have. I ordered both a small and medium for sizing. I’m 5’3”, 160lbs and normally between a medium and large in most brands depending on the style. The fit of this dress (the outer sheet part) is very forgiving. The medium was too long and too much fabric - I ended up keeping the small. Without shoes it touches the floor a tiny bit but I plan to wear with heels. The quality is very nice. I got the black and it’s just sheer enough to be sassy but still chic - not so sheer that it looks cheap.
Okay obsessed but the sizing of the two pieces is not right together…. I ordered I a size small and medium because I wasn’t sure which would fit. And honestly I need a medium of the mini slip dress and an XS of the chiffon overlay dress part. Still beautiful and thinking I will just wear the size small for my event but the slip dress is SHORT even with the straps all the way lengthened. The overlay chiffon part is just a little bit too big. I wish the sleeve length but about 1 inch higher on my wrist and on the hemline. Still gorgeous and a total statement dress

I bought a large in the pale yellow. The color is beautiful! I’m a size 10 and the slip dress fits perfectly. Not to short. The kaftan fits but a lot of fabric I probably could go down a size but then I’d have to buy 2 dresses. 😆I’m happy with the large overall. I have broad shoulders and I’m 5’8” so it works for me. I’m planning to wear a kitten heel shoe and the length is just right. I’m excited to rock this dress for an upcoming wedding!!

I got tons of compliments on this dress. The store and color are very unique, sizing runs true to size. I am 5’3 I wore very high heels to keep from having to get it hemmed. But the arms were still a little long on me. The slip has 2 layers of fabric so don’t have to worry about anything being see through.
Arrived quicker than though, the dress is beautiful, I just need to get it hemmed as I am short. Very classy look for my bachelorette or rehearsal dinner. The xxl fit perfectly as well

I put this dress on and immediately felt like the Pope on vacation. I don’t know who I am anymore but I feel powerful, breezy, and like I should be waving to a crowd from a balcony somewhere. It’s so comfortable I feel like I should be gliding through life giving vague wisdom and blessings. I have truly never felt this powerful in a piece of clothing. I’m 5'6" and 148 lbs. I originally wanted the medium but it was sold out so I tried the small and it fit perfectly. I love how the slip is separate, it makes it so much easier to put on. It’s so comfortable this is one of my favorite pieces I’ve bought in a while.
I’m a high school teacher and wore this to chaperone prom last night. I got so many compliments from both students and teachers! I kept getting called “angelic” which made me laugh because I got the butter yellow and not the white. If I got the white, I think it would’ve really been angelic! Get the dress! I received so many compliments on this gown! It is beautiful and so comfortable. The long chiffon over piece runs extremely large. I’m 5’9” 145 and finally settled on the small, except the slip dress underneath was then too small. But I switched it out with a light blue slip and it was perfect!
